Dr. Schefdore earned his DMD at the Southern Illinois University. He provides seminars to dentists and hygienists on how to provide exceptional service and patient comfort, about the oral systemic connection, and how to perform the office finger stick blood screening for improved overall patient health.  He also created the Healthy Heart Dentistry program which is being taught nationally and internationally.

Blood Testing
In addition, Dr. Schefdore has developed an FDA-approved finger prick blood test for early detection of those with a high risk of heart disease/stroke, diabetes, prediabetes, systemic cancers and more.  Dr. Schefdore has been providing these screening blood tests right in his office for years.  It's quick, inexpensive and easy.  It helps identify unsuspecting health issues and has proven to save lives.  We can do this test in-office, so please ask our staff about it and its importance to your health.
